Carrie Carpenter is a former Michigan State Female Athlete of the Year. As an outfielder, Carrie was named to the All Big Ten First Team in her senior season. Carrie excelled in the class room as well, earning recognition on the Academic All American First Team.

Carrie has continued her success as a varsity softball coach at Dearborn, Allen Park, and Divine Child, and has won 2 district titles and 2 league championships from 2001 to 2010.
