Coach Carmosino is a 2000 graduate of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, OH. While at St. X., Coach Carmosino played for the nationally renowned Midland Redskins.

After high school Coach Carmosino earned baseball scholarship to Oakland University, where he was all conference, and is the career leader in strikeouts, innings pitched, and starts. In the summer of 2001 Coach Carmosino was named Pitcher of the Year in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate league, while playing for the Delawere Cows and posting a 6-0 record.

Coach Carmosino was taken in the 27th round of the 2004 MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers. He signed and June of 2004 and immediately reported to Oneonta, NY. Coach Carmosino completed his professional career in 2005.

Coach Carmosino is entering his 5th season as the pitching coach at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s. During his tenure, the Eaglets have captured 4 district championships, 3 regional championships, and a pair of Division II state championship appearances. In addition to St. Mary’s in 2009 Coach Carmosino was the head coach of the 13U Motor City Hit Dogs, a team that finished 68-8 under his tutelage, while qualifying for the USSSA Disney Elite World Series.
