The Varsity Shop Training Center is excited and pleased to announce that Ron Bellamy, former University of Michigan and NFL receiver, will be joining our staff of professional trainers. Ron brings a wealth of playing experience as a highly recruited high school athlete, college star at the University of Michigan and his years in the NFL. He will be a tremendous addition to our staff as we continue to develop and expand our strength, speed and conditioning programs. Ron will focus on overall football skill development for all positions while incorporating the necessary performance fundamentals.
Information on Coach Ron Bellamy
Coach Bellamy graduated for UM with a degree in Sport Management Communications and was honored as scholar athlete. Ron is currently attending Wayne State University to earn a teaching degree in an effort to continue his passion for teaching young people. He was also named the head football coach at West Bloomfield High School in 2009.
After his career at UM Coach Bellamy was signed by the Miami Dolphins as a free agent in 2003 and went on to play in the NFL for 5 years, two years with the Dolphins, one year with the Baltimore Ravens and two years with the Detroit Lions before a career ending knee injury.

As a football skills development coach/trainer from 2006-2008 at Perfect Competition Athletic Development facility in Davie, Florida, Coach Bellamy trained numerous high end, college athletes including:
