Baseball Instructor - Scott Nestor

Coach Nestor is from Rochester Hills, MI. He played high school baseball at Rochester Adams under Coach Chuck VanRobays. He was a contributing part of two district titles in 2005 and 2006 with a regional finals appearance in 2005. As a senior in 2006, he was a recipient of the Brown and Gold Award.
Coach Nestor continued his baseball career playing 4 years of club baseball at Central Michigan University. As a part of the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA), the Chippewa’s won two Great Lakes North Conference Championships and two Great Lakes Regional Championships. Making two NCBA World Series appearances in 2008 and 2010 the Chippewa’s would finish at a high ranking of 5th in the country. Coach Nestor was a three year starter on the team and in his senior year, he was also the head coach of the team. Between his sophomore and senior seasons he had earned Conference Player of the Week honors three times.
Coach Nestor is entering his second season as an Assistant Coach with the Oakland Bulldogs. He also earned his degree in Sports Management and Leadership Studies from Central Michigan University in 2011.
