Softball Instructor - Stephanie Sabo

Softball Training Specialties: Hitting/Catching/Fielding
Sabo, was a 4 year varsity letter winner for the Eastern Michigan University Softball Team (2004-2008). She finished her career at Eastern Michigan with a .994 fielding percentage and went through 3 consecutive errorless seasons. She helped the Eagles capture the 2007 West Conference title which set the Eagles as the No. 2 seed in the MAC Tournament where they rattled off four straight victories to win the first MAC Championship in program history. Sabo scored the game-winning run in the MAC Championship to secure the win for the Eagles and helped lead the Eagles to their first NCAA Regional appearance in Ann Arbor where she had a strong showing at the plate. At the completion of the 2007 season, Sabo finished 3rd in the Nation for NCAA Division 1 with 21 sacrifice hits.
Prior to joining the Eagles, Sabo was a four-year varsity softball letter winner for Coach Debbie Norman at Allen Park Cabrini where she helped turn the program around and took the team to 3 quarterfinal appearances. For 4 years, Sabo was named All-Downriver (2 years ‘Dream Team’), All-Catholic, All- League, All-Downriver, All-District and All-Region.
While in College Sabo helped girls take their softball skills to the next level while working at the Michigan Sports Academy in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She’s has worked many different camps throughout Michigan, has a lot of energy, heart and passion for the game of softball and is ready to use her knowledge and experience to help others take their game of softball to the next level while primarily focusing on hitting, catching and the skills of an outfielder.
